1. Overview

I have attached three documents to serve as introductions to more detailed work to come. The first is an outline of a series I prepared for the BSU at Crenshaw High School. It is essentially a rough outline of the basic lessons from my involvement and observation of Black Student Unions since 1960s (BSU Lessons).

The second document is an outline of workshops (study group) for young folks built on the same foundation, but with a little more flesh on the bones (Workshop for young folks--another work in progress). As time permits, the outline will be detailed and the links will become references/ footnotes.

The third document is an article I wrote in response to the ongoing (2008-09) resource (oil, food, etc.) and financial 'crisis': The Future in the Past.
